Entertainment Experience

Skip has specialized in concerts at retirement communities designed for independent, assisted living, and skilled nursing residents. He has also performed for various civic organizations. He sings while accompanying himself on the piano, and sometimes includes piano solos in his concerts. In order to build rapport with audiences, he shares personal stories and introduces the context of individual pieces.

He has performed at the Forum at Rancho San Antonio, Cupertino, and at Berkeley East, Santa Monica, both in California. He has also entertained in many Seattle venues, including Wesley Gardens, Wesley Terrace, Exeter House, Park Shore, Merrill Gardens at Northgate, Merrill Gardens at First Hill, Columbia Lutheran Home, Mirabella, Covenant Shores, The Hearthstone, The Summit at First Hill, The Kline Galland Home, Providence Mount St. Vincent, Skyline at First Hill, The Terraces at Skyline, University House, and Horizon House.

Programs normally last about 60 minutes. He negotiates compensation that is in keeping with a group's entertainment budget. The amount of the fee is set when booking a performance.

Skip is well known as a vocal soloist in a variety of other venues. These include weddings, funerals, church services, and holiday festivals. He has also been a guest soloist with orchestras.
